Jocelyn Campos Obituary

April 24, 1956 - Aug. 14, 2014

Jocelyn Marie Campos passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 14. She was 58 years old.

Jocelyn was born in Woodland on April 24, 1956. She attended Woodland schools, graduating from Woodland High School in 1974. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree at UC Irvine in 1980 and a Master of Science Degree at UC Davis in 1996. She worked as a Resource Specialist in Special Education, teaching children with disabilities that affect their learning. Her classroom philosophy was "every child can succeed." Over the years, she worked for the Orange County Dept. of Education, Napa State Hosptial, and numerous school districts, including Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified, Napa Unified, Esparto Unified, Woodland Joint Unified, Sacramento City Unified, and most recently, Natomas Unified.

Jocelyn is survived by her husband of 21 years, Tim Errington. She is also survived by her siblings, Theresa Campos-Ensminger (Mike), Michael Campos (Candy), Tom Campos and John Campos, all of Woodland, and Monica Campos (Howard Sugarman) of Boston; nieces and nephews include, Jennifer Eggers (Lucas), Julie Felix, Evan Ensmiger, Michael T. Campos, Kelly Campos and Jake Campos; grandniece, Elizabeth Eggers, and grandnephew, A.J. Felix. Other survivors include her father-in-law, Albert Errington; sister-in-law, Susie Errington; brother-in-law, Steve Errington (Sharon) and niece, Monica Errington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Sally Campos and grandparents, Evan and Ellen Lowrey and Cristobal and Raimunda Campos.

Services are scheduled for 12:00 noon on Saturday, Sept. 13 at Woodland Christian Church, 509 College St. in Woodland. There will be a reception following at Cracchiolo's Banquet Facility, 1320 East Main St. Memorial donations may be made to the Ellen Lowrey Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Western Yolo Grange, PO Box 312, Guinda, CA 95637 or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Assisting the family with arrangements is Kraft Brothers of Woodland.
