Meaghan Gerringer Obituary
Meaghan, born in Alamance County on Jan. 25, 1997, was the daughter of Gary and Christy Gerringer. She was a student at Alamance-Burlington Middle College and formerly attended Rivermill Academy. Meaghan was passionate about 4-H where she was a member and served as a volunteer and leader.
Surviving, in addition to her parents of the home, are sister, Kassidy Gerringer of the home; maternal grandparents, Mark and Sheila Hearne of Snow Camp; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Beckye Gerringer of Burlington; maternal great-grandfather, Charlie Holleman of Asheville; maternal great-grandmother, Helen Holleman of Burlington; maternal great-grandmother, Diana Hearne of Snow Camp; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Hobbs officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service and at all other times at the home of Glenn and Beckye Gerringer. Interment will be private.
Memorials may be made to the Meaghan Gerringer Scholarship Fund, c/o Alamance 4-H, 209-C N. Graham-Hopedale Road, Burlington, NC 27217.
