Vernon Jull Obituary

March 24, 1930 - July 23, 2007

Vernon Lyle Jull Sr. died Monday, July 23, 2007 in Woodland at age 77.

Mr. Jull was born to Claude and Naomi Jull in Woodland March 24, 1930. He had been a Yolo County resident for life. Mr. Jull was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He served aboard the USS George Clymer where he received the Korean Medal Three Star UN ribbon, and China Medal. He worked in the plumbing and air conditioning industry.

Survivors include Mr. Jull's wife of 55 years, Ardyce Jull, sons, Vernon Jull Jr., and wife Carolyn, Randy Jull and wife Connie and Rodney Jull and wife Leona, brother, Paul Jull, 11 grandchildren, Fred and Nichole Clark, Derrick and Elena Jull, Austin Jull, Matt Jull, Jeff Jull, Michael and Kathryn Jull, Samantha and Phillip Green, Nathan Jull, Shawnda Neel-Jull, Anthony Jull and Sarah Jull, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family requests memorials in Mr. Jull's name be directed to the Yolo Wayfarer Center, P.O. Box 1248, Woodland or Woodland Food Closet, P.O. Box 730, Woodland.

Services: A memorial is scheduled for Monday, July 30 at 10 a.m. located at the New Testament Church, 108 W. Woodland Ave. with pastor Jeff Satterburg officiating. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
