Adrien LeGoff

Adrien "Ace" LeGoff, a passionate, funny, and adventurous spirit, passed away on November 13, 2023 in Saugerties, NY. He was born on October 12, 1978, in Kingston, NY to Joanne and the late Joel LeGoff. Ace graduated with a bachelor's degree from Brevard College, where he made a lasting impression on the baseball field. His athletic prowess was evident as he led the Brevard Tornados to the 2001 AAC tournament championship. He was named the tournament's MVP, hitting a team high .407 (81-for-199) with a team high 47 RBIs. Ace's dedication, talent, and competitive spirit made him a standout player and an inspiration to his teammates. Beyond his achievements on the field, Ace was known for his love of the outdoors. He was a keen hunter and fisherman, often spending his free time exploring the natural beauty of his surroundings. His adventurous spirit was infectious, inspiring those around him to embrace the thrill of new experiences. In addition to his outdoor pursuits, Ace was a talented cook. He delighted in sharing his culinary creations with family and friends, often turning simple gatherings into memorable feasts. His dishes were a testament to his creativity and his love for bringing people together. Ace is survived by his lifelong partner, Carey Silinovich, his mother, Joanne LeGoff, his brothers, Joel (Beth) LeGoff and Derek LeGoff, his niece, Kaelin, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will dearly miss his infectious laughter and zest for life. He was predeceased by his father, Joel LeGoff, in 2014. Despite the challenges he faced, Ace's enduring spirit and love for life remained undimmed. As Mark Twain once said, "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." Ace lived his life fully, embracing every moment with passion, humor, and adventure. While we mourn the loss of Ace, we also celebrate his life and the joy he brought to those around him. His love for life, his passion for adventure, and his unwavering spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire us to live life passionately, laugh heartily, and love deeply.Rest in peace, Ace.
