Alma Berinato

Alma Berinato RHINEBECK -Alma Berinato, 88, a 19 year resident of Rhinebeck and a previous Kingston resident, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 at The Baptist Nursing Home in Rhinebeck. For many years, Alma was the proprietor of “For Love of Linens”, an antique linen shop, located in Village of Rhinebeck. Born on Nov. 30, 1924, in Nutley, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Jules and Louise (Bounous) Viglielmo. Alma married John Berinato and he predeceased her in March of 1981. She is survived by her son: Terence W. Berinato of Tolland, Conn., her daughter; Carol Berinato of Charleston, S.C., her two brothers; Dr. Jules Viglielmo of Woodstock, and Dr. Valdo Viglielmo of Honolulu, Hawaii, her two grandchildren; Katherine, and Christopher Berinato, along with many colleagues and friends.
