When I retired from Kingston Hospital, Amy and I would meet for lunch. Always, always when she walked into the restaurant, I'd have this desire to sing the introduction to "Mame". She had that something that always made me style. She had that great laugh. Suddenly the footlights are dimmer, but I know there are Amy's genes out there and they will be carrying on her joy, her panache, her love for life. I love her. I miss her. "I think you're just sensational, Amy."

What was it about Amy that always made me want to start singing the lyrics from "Mame" with a full orchestra. She had it. That something that makes her unforgettable and will always make me smile. Maybe the footlights are dimmed, but I think the genetic trail she's left behind will become bright again, carrying out her joy and style. I love her and miss her.

Amy was a constant shining light at the hospital. I was always as happy to see her office door open so I could enjoy her happy spirit.

I am saddened to hear that Amy had passed. I had the honor of working with her at the Kingston Hospital. She had a beautiful heart and was the most caring person I´ve ever met. My thoughts and prayers for her family and friends
