Angela Spadafora Obituary

Angela Spadafora SAN ANOTINO, FLORIDA- Angela Spadafora, 64, passed away after a battle with cancer on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at The Gulfside Hospice Center in San Antonio, Fla. Angela was a long time resident of New York State where she lived before moving to Florida seven years ago. Angela was born in 1950 in Brooklyn, New York to Pauline and Joseph Capasso. Angela’s sister, JoAnn Caracciolo who resides in California, survives. Angela graduated from the City University of New York in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She married Arnold Spadafora on Jan. 15, 1972 in Brooklyn, New York. He survives and remains a resident of Florida. Angela had her master’s degree in history, politics and women’s studies. She loved to volunteer, read, swim, garden, and spend time with family and friends. Surviving are her two sons, Eric and Paul, two daughters-in-law Cheryl and Marissa; three grandsons Jake, Luke and Ryan; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Angela always had an open door for friends and neighbors and considered them extensions of her family. Service commemorating her life will be held at Saint Catherine’s of Alexandria on Saturday, Nov. 8th at 10 a.m. located at 1119 41st St., Brooklyn, N.Y. 11218 (718)-436-5917. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory.
