I had Mr. DeFrancis for 7th grade at Haviland Jr. High. Really liked him. I am a FDR High class of 1962 Graduate. May he rest in peace.

I was in the class of 1961 Roosevelt High and I think I might have been in Mr. DeFrancis' first class as a teacher. I have nothing but fond memories of the man. May he rest with the angels.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family! He was one of the greatest teachers I had at Haviland Middle School 1968-69 He was not just a great teacher he stood by his students. I had a problem were everyday I would get a note in my desk from someone and the notes were not very nice. Mr Defrancis made sure he found out who was doing this and caught the kid I will just say the kid never did anything like that again. My father was in Vietnam at the time so I was very thankful he took care of the problem for me. Many thanks Mr Defrancis for being such a great person and teacher.
