Doris W. Colucci GARDINER - Doris W. Colucci, age 77, of Gardiner, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010 at the Kent Nursing Home in Kent, CT. Mrs. Colucci was born April 10, 1933. She spent her entire life in Gardiner. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and the late Doris (Harris) Warren. She married Bart V. Colucci on Jan. 4th, 1953 in Hyde Park. She was a Real Estate Broker since 1971; recently working at Colucci Shand Realty in Gardiner. Doris loved developing magnificent flower gardens and working around the farm. She was an active volunteer in numerous organizations and was honored with the 2003 Community Service Award by the New Paltz Chamber of Commerce. Doris also loved being surrounded by her family. She was known as the matriarch of the community. She is survived by her husband, Bart V. Colucci; daughter, Teresa "Terri" Colucci Shand of Gardiner, son and daughter-in-law, Paul Colucci and Laura Watson of Gardiner; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Deby Colucci of High Falls, son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Theresa Colucci of Gardiner; grandchildren, Sean Colucci, Joseph, Marissa and Elias Colucci, Kyle and Amanda Shand, Celia, Alana, Greg Colucci; also survived by a brother, William Warren of High Falls and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel "Bud" Warren. Calling hours will take place on Tuesday Jan. 4, 2011 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Copeland Funeral home, Inc., 162 South Putt corners Road, New Paltz. The Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. at the Reformed Church of Gardiner, Route 44/55, Gardiner on Wednesday Jan. 5, 2011.
