Douglas M. Galderisi 50 of Conway South Carolina passed away at home on August 7 th , 2023. Doug was born in the Bronx on December 13 th 1972, he was the son of the late Ernest and Lois L. Ruotolo Galderisi. Doug was previously employed by the ROMA Deli on Hooker Ave. in Poughkeepsie and Shop Rite inFishkill. Doug was a local resident most of his life before moving to Conway South Carolina 2 years ago. Doug was a graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School. He was a past volunteer for the New Hackensack and Roosevelt Fire Department.Doug also was a volunteer for Community Action and Meals on Wheels in Kingston.He was a avid sports fan who loved the NY Yankees and NY JETS. The most important part of Dougs life were his nieces, nephews and family. Doug is survived by his mother Lois L. Galderisi of Hurley, NY., his brothers Gregory L. Galderisi of Hurley, NY., Dennis M. (Katie) Galderisi of Port Ewen, NY., Gary P. (Brandy) Galderisi of Hurley, NY., nieces and nephews Adriano Galderisi, Steven E. Galderisi Jr., Angelo Galderisi, Sophia Galderisi, Vincent Galderisi, Lucia Galderisi and Alfonso Galderisi. Doug was also predeceased by his brother Steven E. Galderisi who passed away on May 19 th , 2009. Calling Hours will be held Sunday August 13 th , 2023, from 2pm to 5pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Poughkeepsie New York 12603. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Monday August 14 th , 2023, at Holy Trinity Church 775 Main Street Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Entombment will follow at Poughkeepsie, Rural Cemetery.
