Erna Zahn

Erna Zahn (neè Kupski) died peacefully at home in Leeds, Ny on September 18, 2022.She had celebrated her 91st birthday on September 12th and was the daughter of the late Karl and Elsa (Büllau) Kupski. Mrs Zahn emigrated from Germany in 1953 and married Waldemar Zahn. They made their home in Saugerties, Ny. She is known far and wide for her kind, loving heart and incredible work ethic. Whether it was sewing a garment, providing resorts with her delicious baked goods or taking care of someone on their final journey, she did it with love and gave 100% to the task. When she wasn’t working she could be found in her kitchen or outside taking care of her flowers. Her husband, Waldemar passed in 2002. Her grandson Kyle Zahn passed away in 2018. She is survived by her 4 children, Heidi Lee, Siegrid Kuehn, Waldemar Zahn and Wilhelm Zahn, 2 Grand-daughters, Dakota Kirkland and Gabrielle Graham, and several siblings in Germany. https://www.lastingmemories.com/erna-zahn
