Ken, Steve and I went to NYC National Car Show with Steve and Ken's father. Once inside the Colosium Steve and his dad split up with Ken and I and arrainged to meet up in several hours. Ken and I spent the aftrrnoon wondeing around Manhatten. We stopped in Eugene McCarthy campaign headquarters and volunteered. On the way home that night Lyndon Johnson gave a Nationally televised speach anouncing he was not running for re-election. Ken and I wondered how Johnson had found out we had volunteered against him!

Very sorry to learn of ken's passing. We we really good friend's in grade school and high school. I have not had contact with him for years but have thought of him often. He was a good kid and clearly was a good man with family and friends. He will live on via our memories. Judge Tom keefe, Albany new york.
