Kevin Bouyea

Kevin Bouyea KINGSTON- Kevin C. Bouyea, 54, of Loughran Court, died suddenly, Friday Oct. 4, 2013, at his home. He was born in Manhassett, N.Y., Aug. 3, 1959, a son of Carol Moynihan Bouyea of Kingston and the late Charles Bouyea. Kevin was a commercial driver and was currently employed by Tonche Transit in Mt. Tremper. He prided himself in his driving career as being able to drive anything with wheels. He had been previously employed driving tractor trailer, charter buses, tow trucks, limousines, and shuttle buses. Kevin was an outdoor person. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking and camping. He was a great story teller and joker, he enjoyed playing Santa, and especially loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the Fair Street Reformed Church. He previously served as a Deacon and currently was an Elder of the Fair Street Reformed Church. He also served on the Board for the Fair Street Nursery School. Kevin had a passion for the fire service. He currently was a life member of the Bloomington Fire Co. and previously was a member of the Brockport Fire Department and Ulster Hose Co. #5. In addition to his mother of Kingston, he is survived by his wife, of 30 years, Terri Wright Bouyea; a daughter, Christina Bouyea; a son, Brian Bouyea, both at home; a sister, Colleen Bouyea-Essency and her husband Joe, of Lake Katrine; his mother-in-law Shirley Wright of Lake Katrine; and brother-in-law, Steve Wright of Kingston. He was the uncle of Cheyenne Bouyea and Brady Essency. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, at the Fair Street Reformed Church, 209 Fair St., Kingston. Rev. Kendra VanHouten will officiate. Interment will be in Rosendale Plains Cemetery.
