I was very fortunate to get to know Letizia during my time as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in Essex County , NY . She was incredibly smart , always so very helpful to me and my administration during the most difficult times . She was so very kind and such a true professional. LT and I became fast friends when we worked together at the DA's office. She was smart, quick witted, and beautiful - inside and out. Everyone who knew her has remarked on her kindness and generosity toward others, and that is how I will remember her most. A memory I have - that made such a mark on me - is a time when we were walking to a coffee shop and there was a homeless man standing on the corner. As we approached him, I was surprised when LT enthusiastically greeted him by name and asked how he was doing. I later found out, that she would frequently buy him a cup of coffee when she saw him. This so exemplifies the kindness and dignity that she gave to anyone she met. She had an innate ability to connect with people and make them feel like they mattered, and I hope that hearing these stories and reflections brings some measure of comfort to her family. I will miss her deeply.

My family and I were very saddened by the tragic news of Letizia´s passing.
We were incredibly proud of all she accomplished, taking her public service dedication from the DA´s office to the highest levels of state government.
She was a very special person to so many, including me, and she will never be forgotten.
My heart goes out to her wonderful family. She was a devoted daughter, cousin, sister and aunt.
God bless you Letizia. May you soar on the wings of eagles.

Letizia was such a beautiful human, inside and out. She always had a smile on her face - so friendly and fun to be around. She was the greatest. I got to know Letizia while we were both working in the Attorney General´s office. She was a smart, dedicated, hardworking attorney, and a pleasure to get to know. I am so sad at her passing. I first met with Letizia when I ran for LG and I had the honor of working with her throughout my 4 year term.
LT was such a beautiful, smart, wonderful person - and I am stunned/saddened by her death.
She was truly an angel - in every sense of the word.
