Letizia will always be remembered as a kind and caring person who was dedicated to her friends and colleagues. I was blessed to know and work with such a wonderful person.

I was very fortunate to get to know Letizia during my time as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in Essex County , NY . She was incredibly smart , always so very helpful to me and my administration during the most difficult times . She was so very kind and such a true professional. LT and I became fast friends when we worked together at the DA's office. She was smart, quick witted, and beautiful - inside and out. Everyone who knew her has remarked on her kindness and generosity toward others, and that is how I will remember her most. A memory I have - that made such a mark on me - is a time when we were walking to a coffee shop and there was a homeless man standing on the corner. My family and I were very saddened by the tragic news of Letizia´s passing. We were incredibly proud of all she accomplished, taking her public service dedication from the DA´s office to the highest levels of state government. She was a very special person to so many, including me, and she will never be forgotten. My heart goes out to her wonderful family. She was a devoted daughter, cousin, sister and aunt. God bless you Letizia. May you soar on the wings of eagles.
