Michael S. Perry KINGSTON-Michael S. Perry, ‘'Honey Brown', 87, of Kingston, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at HealthAlliance Hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1926 in Kingston, to the late Francis and Rose (Garafolo) Perry. He was married to his loving wife of 66 years, Celia E. (Ciccone) Perry. They wed on Oct. 27, 1946. Michael attended Kingston High School and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. As a carpenter, Michael, ran his own business for many years which included restoration of many homes and historical sites. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Kingston, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was a former Alderman. Michael loved playing solitaire, cooking, baking and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Sharon Daley (Thomas) of Saugerties, Michele Arnold of Kingston, formerly of Fla., Michael F. Perry (Brenda) of Saugerties, his grandchildren, Diana, Anthony (Tracy), Curtis, Colin, Brittany, Alexa, and one great-grandchild, Greyson. He is also survived by his siblings, Julia Tiano, June Pawlows and Paul Perry, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by a son-in-law, Michael Arnold, and his siblings Mary, Angeline, Albert, Rose, Joseph, Louis, Concetta, Carmel, Helen, Eugene and Carlo. Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. The procession will form on Thursday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home and proceed to St. Mary's Church where at 10 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
