This August it will be 10 years since Michelle Fox came upon me on the side of Tongore Road in Marbletown. She kept me breathing and alive until the medivac helicopter arrived. She passed away on August 7, 2016, 16 days short of exactly one year after saving my life on August 23, 2015. After 2 years of surgeries and a long recovery, I have been serving the community through a non-profit arts organization, and am alive to see my daughter get married this year. I am forever grateful to Michelle whose having been the kind of human being she was has made an immeasurable difference, her life made the rest of my life possible. I wanted to be at her funeral, I was not yet ready physically or emotionally, I want her family to know what she meant to me. we talked on the phone but I never got to thank her in person before she died.

Chele Fox had that blessed combination of wisdom and joy. I learned so much from her as she dealt with her health challenges over the years with grace and a positive attitude. Her appreciation of the bounty of her garden and her love for her animals were inspiring. She was a delightful neighbor to have for 30 years, and will be much missed.

Chelle was the sweetest women. we shared so many talks. she shared many flowers she had in her garden and everytime they bloom I will thank her for the beauty and love she gave to us. Both Marion and I will miss her coming in the driveway for "a second" to say hi, and chat. Our hearts are sad for you all. Sending you love, hugs and our strength to get through the rough times ahead.

All God's angels come to us disguised. Thank you Michele for saving my daughter Marcy's life one year ago. You have left a wonderful legacy of kindness and good deeds and that is all any of us can ask for.

I never met you but you probably saved my sisters life. Angels are sent when most needed and with purpose. A terrible bicycle accident, where this angel appeared and offered aid and comfort. Thank you for being you and being there. May the bells ring loudly as this angel gets her wings. I wish your entire family peace and comfort in knowing how many lives u must have touched with love. Forever grateful. Even though I never met you. Robin Bernstein sister to Marcy.
