I was very sad to hear on Nick's death. I got to know Nick well during my stay in Kingston from 1955 to 1964 and maintained contact after that time. Nick was an active person in the Kingston community: certainly as a life member of St. Marys Church but also as a member of local ski, golf and tennis activities. He was known for his unassuming ways, his wry wit, his sense of humor and his story telling ability sprinkled with humor. He was a good listener to others. He was certainly fun to be with and these qualities gained him a lot of Kingston friends.
Often referred to as a "gentleman" - I would call him a gentle man.
