Ola Wilson Obituary

Ola Wilson WOODSTOCK- Ola Wilson, 88 of Woodstock, passed away March 11, 2014, at Kingston Hospital. She was born Sept. 4, 1925 in Scottsboro, Ala. She was the daughter of the late GreenBerry and Lizzie Ingram Wilcox. Ola worked at Deanie’s Restaurant in Woodstock for many years and Simulaids until her retirement. Ola was a gentle caring person who was loved by all who met her. She loved gardening, traveling and caring for animals but above all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Ola was predeceased by her husband, Louis Wilson; three sisters, Madge Hussey, Bobbie Tucker and Mae West; one brother, John Wilcox; and beloved niece, Margo King. She is survived by her sister, Dale Duym of N.J.; a son, Joseph Clark and his wife Denise of Saugerties; a daughter, Katherine Lane and her husband James of Kingston; six grandchildren, Kelly Bond and her husband Tim, Toni Mikesh and her husband Carl, Krissy Clark, James Lane Jr. and his partner Mildred Montgomery, Brandi Kime and her husband Brad, Kara Mooers and her husband Jay; and ten great-grandchildren, Jerry Allen, Cory Mayes, Danielle Mikesh, Cierra Kime, Jacob, Jada and Chase Mooers, Tara and Carissa Lane and April Leckie. Also surviving are seven great-great-grandchildren; two nephews, John Duym and his wife Louise and James Hussey; and two nieces, Martha Rice and Tasia McManus. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
