Peter Forgione

Peter J. Forgione Peter J. Forgione, a loving husband, father and grandfather,77, of Kingston, died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. Born in Scranton, Pa., he was a son of the late James E. and Mary Muracco Forgione. Peter was employed as an engineer at Rotron, Woodstock, N.Y. and IBM, Kingston, and Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He was a member of the JC’S of Woodstock, N.Y. and Knights of Columbus in Saugerties, N.Y. Peter also volunteered as a fireman in Boiceville and Woodstock, N.Y. Peter is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia A. Stark Forgione of Kingston, whom he married on Aug. 15, 1960, three children, Gaye E. Forgione-Goodman and her husband Joel of Alexandria, Va., Suzanne Forgione-Gustafson and her husband John of Beach Lake, Pa., P. Kenneth Forgione and Cindy Polkowski of Port Ewen, seven grandchildren, Alekse, Allyson, Tori, PJ, Natalie, Johnny and Jeremie, two great-grandchildren, Timothy and Ryley. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by a daughter, Elisa A. Forgione-Kronz and a brother, Robert Forgione.
