Phillip Pranis Obituary

SAUGERTIES ' Phillip A. Pranis, 81, of Catskill View Circle died Friday, December 8, 2023 at his residence. Born March 30, 1942 in Brooklyn he was the son of the late Alexander and Evelyn Pranis . A veteran of the US Navy he served during the Vietnam War. For many years he was employed at Lucent Technologies as a fiber optic installer. He was a member of the Saugerties American Legion Post #72. Survivors include a son, Christopher Pranis of St. Augustine, Fla., a brother, Alexander of Saugerties and a sister, Marilyn Boyle of Charlotte, NC. His graveside services will be held 12 noon at the New Paltz Veteran's Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Expressions of condolence may be shared with Phil's family on his Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.
