Richard Teitter Obituary

SAUGERTIES…. Richard V. Teitter of Hudson River Rd., died Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Westchester Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born April 24, 1959 in Kingston he was the son of the late Raymond and Janet Teitter.A graduate of Saugerties High School he owned and operated for over 28 years his own construction company, All Around Building and Remodeling. Active in volunteer firematics, he was a life member of the Saugerties Exempts Fireman’s Association and served as a fire commissioner with the Glasco Fire Department. Family was important to him, and he served as a coach in both the Saugerties Little League and Babe Ruth League. He loved camping and served on the Recreation Committee of the Town of Saugerties. Survivors include two sons: Christopher and Nicolas Teitter both of Saugerties, two brothers: Raymond of Saugerties and Ronald of PA., and his best friend, Marijo Russel of Scotia.His Service of Remembrance will be held 5:45 PM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Saugerties. Friends will be received Saturday from 4:00-5:45 PM.
