Ryan Stanfield SAUGERTIES - Ryan Stanfield, 29, of Hudson and Saugerties, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2015. He was surrounded by his family and friends after battling a lengthy illness. Ryan was an inspiration to all who met him. He will be dearly missed and always remembered by his family and friends. He touched our lives in so many ways. We will miss him every day. He will forever remain in our hearts. Ryan attended COARC Promenade Hill Center day habilitation program since he was 16 years old. In 2008 Ryan took the next step in his life by moving to his new home in Hudson where he made many friends who became his extended family. Ryan enjoyed swimming, playing the keyboard and watching MC Hammer Videos. Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Debby Hinchey and Alan Goodwin of Saugerties; stepbrother, Alan Goodwin Jr. of Saugerties; grandparents, Helen Hinchey of Saugerties, Michael and MaryAnn Hinchey of Gambrills, Md.; Albert and Beverly Goodwin of Watervliet, N.Y.; and Hans Gremer of Saugerties. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ryan was pre-deceased by his grandmother, Anna Goodwin-Gremer (Grannie Annie). A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Lasher Funeral Home, 100 Tinker St., Woodstock.
