Stephen Pechloff Obituary

Stephen J. ‘Pecker’ Pechloff KINGSTON-Stephen J. “Pecker” Pechloff of Wilson Ave. died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. He was 56. He was born in Manhattan, the son of the late Joseph and Violet Dougherty Pechloff. A self-employed contractor, he was an avid fisherman, camper, kayaker and former skier. Surviving is his fiancé, JoAnne Gillson; two daughters, Shannon Reeck and her husband David of Hurley, Amanda Smith and her husband Jonathan of Philadelphia, Pa.; a stepson Benigno Resto of Kingston; two stepdaughters, Krystiana Machtinger of Sparta, N.J. and Amanda Stottlar of Fulton, Mo. and a sister, Marybeth Close. Three step-grandchildren also survive. Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Cremation will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
