KINGSTON- Wendy Lorraine Hoffay formally Garcia D’Ippolito was born on April 11, 1946 in Kingston to the late Alice and George Hoffay. She was a waitress, and a previous local business owner of the the Elm Diner, Tall Cedars , and the Carriage House. She was predeceased by her step father, George S. Bailey, Sr.; sister, Georgia; and brother, George. She is survived by her step mother, Rosamond Hoffay of Keene, N.H.; two sisters, Debbie Bradshaw of Arizona, and Doreen Ireland of R.I.; two daughters, Roberta Cunningham and Cheryl Garcia-Reynolds both of North Carolina; son, James D’Ippolito of California; two stepdaughters, Angela Cunningham of Lake Katrine, N.Y., Anita Kruppa of North Carolina; grandchildren, Michael Kennedy, Antonio Cortes, and Ryan, and Megan Kruppa All of North Carolina; two great-granddaughters, Paisley and Charli Kennedy of New York; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., corner of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Her Funeral Procession will form at 11:15 a.m. and process to the Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston for an 11:45 a.m. burial service.
