My heartfelt condolences goes out to the entire Smolenski family.

Al was my mentor when I ventured from one place of employment to GE. I was put under his wing and learned a lot and he kept me from getting fustrated and became a great friend and Union member. Socially talking hunting and politics and sharing many laughs and his many life stories.

In the office he was known as "Big Al" and worth all of the given nickname.

I will always hold on to the memories and be reminded of how short life is.

Rest in peace Al.

In solidarity
Godspeed
