Dear Amy and Allyson; Your dad and I worked together 21 years (1969-1990) for Clairol. My assigned territory was Vermont and upstate New York. Carl mentored me for 18 years. I'll never forget his incredible sense of humor, razor sharp wit and astute salesmanship. Often, I recall with a smile, the many fun and funny times we had working together. My sympathy to you and your families for the loss of your dad and grandfather. Today, I am grieving for the loss of an old and dear comrade.

I was so sorry to hear this news Amy and Allison. I have nothing but great memories of your father. He was one of the funniest people I knew. The Christmas Eve gift exchanges were legendary and I looked forward to those as much as opening gifts the next morning. He also spent a lot of time teaching me how to play golf when I was a teenager, taking me to the country club to practice and outback with his practice net. My thoughts and prayers go out to the both of you and the rest of the family. He will be truly missed.

The world has lost one of the wittiest and most loving Fathers I have ever met. I grew up with Amy and the memories I have of her childhood home and the witty banter of love between Carl and his "daddy's girls" will never be forgotten. His legacy and humor and love lives on in his girls and his grandchildren. Thinking of all of you and sending my love, Sheri
