Chris was a classmate of mine and I knew he was fighting this horrible disease, but he led an incredible life! He is leaving behind a legacy as only he could do. Major, you're in good hands now and I also send you one last slow final salute from a fellow veteran.

When someone we love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Therefore, cherish the times spent with loved ones-draw strength from the love of family and friends-and may God's word and his loyal love comfort you and help you through this difficult time. Psalms 119:50,76
