My husband George went to school with Dave (DJ) and I had the pleasure of meeting him I believe it was at their 35th class reunion. It was great to hear them reminisce and just pick up where they left off never losing a beat - many laughs. Good friends like that are hard to find and DJ will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Patty, Erika & Katie,
It is such a sad week for all of us in the neighborhood… I can't tell you how much I have looked forward to our conversations out in the yard - whether it was lawn care tips or politics - Dave would discuss anything. And he was always there with treats for my dogs, never playing favorites between them. He didn't even mind much when Goldie stole his six pack of beer! I knew I could always count on him for a little extra help when needed. Am thinking of all of you and want you to know how much he will be missed. Dave was a great neighbor and a great guy.

I knew Dave in high school, and we would all "pal around" in a small group in the lunchroom and see if we could get in trouble somehow. I have memories also of us being in gym together, and playing sports after school. I don't think I ever saw a time when he was not joking around or laughing no matter what we were doing. Truly one of the good guys...

To the DeJoseph Family....please accept my sincere condolences. I went to high school with Dave but didn't know him well until we started having "mini" class reunions a few years ago. He was a true gentlemen and always seemed to care about his family, his dog and whoever he was talking to at the time. He will be missed at our reunions.
