Dianne L. Earls

Dianne L. Earls, 71, passed away on Wednesday August 25th in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her beloved family after a seven year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Schenectady, Dianne was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Colombe) Feuz and was also predeceased by two of her sisters, Gail Schermerhorn and Judith Allen. A graduate of Schalmont High School, Dianne had a 35-year career as an executive secretary for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany, NY. A former member of Trinity Reformed Church, Dianne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved Country and Ballroom Dancing and was a recipient of many dancing awards. She loved sewing and needlepoint, was very athletic and enjoyed cross country skiing, kayaking and going to the gym but above all she loved her family and was the cherished grandmother to her five grandchildren who she loved and treated as if they were her own children. Dianne is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years Dennis R. Earls, her loving children Shanna M. Henry of Delanson, Tina D. Dalaba of Scotia and Denise I. Earls of Glenville, her 5 cherished grandchildren Raven S. Earls, Zackary R. Henry, Aurora A. Dalaba (Brandon), Adam R. Earls and Rowan A. Dalaba, her brother Gary Feuz (Annette) of Rotterdam and sister Joan Miller (Kenneth) of Esperance and her many nieces and nephews. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening August 29th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home on Monday morning at 10 a.m. Interment in Viewland Cemetery in Rotterdam, NY.
