One of the first things that I asked my girlfriend when I first saw Eddie play was, "Who's that?!" I knew he was special and when I was at his games I made sure to let him know that I appreciated his talent. I wish his family and friends well during this very difficult time.

Eddie will never be forgotten he was such a wonderful friend to my son, they played basketball everyday in my backyard and he was so polite and well mannered, he was like a nephew to me My heart goes out to his family because they had a beautful child He will never be forgotten

My condolences to the family. I was in a room near him when he came into the ER. I sat and prayed for him and the family for God to easy the pain of this. My son said Eddie was one of the best basketball players in the school. We all wish you the best and please remember he is forever in your hearts. May God Bless you all.

I didn't know Eddie but, I had seen him around. It tears my heart up that this has happened to someone so young. I pray God give his family strength in their time of sorrow. There isn't any thing tougher for a parent then to lose a child. God Bless Eddie and his whole family. Keep the peace and may justice prevail.

I didn't know eddie but i do know friends of eddie's. he was very loved and talented and it's so terrible to see his friends like this. and to eddie's family, keep your heads up. eddie will be watching over all of us and i know he loves every one of his friends and family. stay strong. RIP Eddie! I'm an Albany Mother who's heart broke after hearing such a tragedy on the local news. I believe their is a sisterhood amongst all mothers; and my heart and prayers immediately went out to Eddie's mother and family. I did not know Eddie, but the positive feedback from the community paints such an awesome picture. He must have been SO special for God to call on him so young. My thoughts and prayers, I send to Eddie's family.

It make me cry (weep) to know that my son had to come in contact with such pain when i asked hin did he know Eddie, because i was told he wrote om FB RIP-my son was slient all that day in he has not been the same because--him an EDDIE had classe together--and the tears came down on my face..We all are in pain--but not like that MOTHER,MOTHER,MOTHER- a pain I never want to know-only GOD KNOWS
