Elizabeth Flatt Obituary
Born 11/25/25 to the late William and Elizabeth Bromley in Troy NY.
She graduated from Catholic High and attended Russell Sage College. Beth received her RN from Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY.
She was a skilled and proud nurse at several local hospitals. Beth was also a long time communicant and volunteer at St Madeleine Sophie Church, Guilderland, NY.
Beth was predeceased by her husband, Earle after 71 years of marriage; as well as her parents and her two sisters and brother-in-law, Jane (Albert) Mair and Lois Mair.
She is survived by her children, Dean (Mary Ann) Flatt of Montclair, NJ, Marc (Amy) Flatt of Lillington, NC, Beth Ann Chatnik of Schenectady, NY, Neal (Malia) Flatt of Midlothian, VA, and Kevin (Tamerine) Flatt of Marietta, GA; her brother-in-law, Richard W. Mair of Whitesboro, NY; as well as 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 21st at St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Guilderland at 12 noon preceded by a viewing in the church from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Cyril's Cemetery, Rotterdam.
The family wishes to thank both her home care team and the staff at the Step Down Unit on 2 McAuley at St. Peter's for their kind and attentive care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Madeline Sophie Church, Guilderland, NY.

I remember your mom with her wonderful disposition always cheerful . Every Sunday whole family being would be at church taking up an entire pew. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Beth was a absolutely wonderful inspiration to my life. I had the honor to do many services around their home over the years in Rotterdam. I feel very lucky and blessed to know both Beth and Earl through the church.
