Frances Kiskis Obituary

Mrs. Frances Kiskis, 85, of Burnt Hills, New York passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was born June 15, 1936 in the Town of Charleston, Montgomery County, New York a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Sigler. Frances was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam and continued her education at the Amsterdam School of Commerce. She first worked at Mohasco in Amsterdam. For several years, she was employed as a Secretary for the General Electric Company in Schenectady. She retired in 1998 after working for Lockheed Martin at the Kesselring Site in West Milton. Mrs. Kiskis was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville. She was married to Daniel Kiskis. He died June 21, 2001. Survivors include her sons Daniel (Patti) Kiskis of Galway, New York and David (Halina) Kiskis of Amsterdam; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings Joseph, Edward, John and Josephine. A prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Jendrzejczak Funeral Home, 200 Church Street, Amsterdam followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, Cornell Street, Amsterdam with Rev. O. Robert De Martinis, Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home Monday.
