Frank Gallucci Obituary

Frank M. Gallucci Rotterdam Frank M. Gallucci, 82, of Rotterdam, died peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Ellis Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born and educated in Schenectady, Frank was the son of the late Luigi and Colomba Gallucci. Frank was known and will be remembered as a very kind, caring and happy person. A devoted family man, he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Earning the rank of sergeant, Frank honorably served his country in the United States Army. He also attended the GE Apprentice program. Frank was owner of Gallucci Builders and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Anna (Bruno) Gallucci. He is survived by his children, Jean Hanson (Steven) of Rotterdam, Glenn Gallucci (Teri) of Rotterdam, Anna Brady (Michelle) of Albany, Maria MacEntee (Daniel) of Rotterdam and Paul Brady of Slingerlands. He also leaves behind his longtime friend and companion, Cynthia Palleschi; as well as brother, Anthony Gallucci of Rotterdam and sister, Rose Wiggin of Rotterdam; six grandchildren, Regina Hanson, Nicholas Hanson, Briana Gallucci, Dante Gallucci, Holden MacEntee and Hayden MacEntee; along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, on Thursday, December 18th, at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd., Rotterdam, at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will take place on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery, Rotterdam. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's name can be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302 or to The Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Albany Medical Center, 43 New Scotland Avenue, A Building, 5th Floor, Albany, NY 12208.
