Gilbert Winfield Sisson Dover, DEGilbert Winfield Sisson went home to touch the face of God and rejoin his wife, Jacqueline, on February 12, 2012 after a long illness, surrounded by his family, in his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Louise Gratton Sisson in 2008. They were together since New Year's Eve 1951. He is survived by his son, Gilbert J. Sisson (Retired MSgt USAF) and wife, Linda of Eureka, MO; three daughters, Ann Louise Patrick of Raleigh, NC, Jacqueline Ann (Sisson) Felicetti and husband, John Andrew of Elverson, PA, and Joy Leah Sisson of Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren, Lindsay and Landon Sisson of Missouri, Melissa Dekker of Tennessee, Nicholas Patrick of Oklahoma, Brandy Edmonds of Virginia, and SSgt. Kellan Sisson, USAF of New York; and four great-grandchildren, Molly Walker and Samuel Dekker of Tennessee, Draydon Patrick of Oklahoma, and Bianca Edmonds of Virginia. He is also survived by three brothers, Gary Sisson (Linda) of Ballston Lake, NY, Gale Sisson (Carol) of Scotia, NY, Glenn Sisson of Massachusetts, as well as one sister, G.G. Downing (Bruce) of Charlton, NY; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901 or the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, # 205, New Castle, DE 19720-1633.
