Mannion Family

January 23, 2021

On behalf of the Mannion family, we would first express our heartfelt condolences to Matt, Michael, Denise, and Max on the loss of a vibrant, funny, and amazing bright light in all our lives.

Our families were so intertwined over our time on First Street in Scotia, we all grew up together. Mom and Irene had an amazing friendship for over 50 years, spending time together creating amazing memories. Over the past days Mom has reflected upon these treasured memories to remember all that was wonderful. As families we spent significant time together, all of us remembering the times over Christmas where we would have our own family time together in the morning then sharing more joy together later that day.

While time has passed the memories remain fresh, remembering a woman with an amazing smile and infectious laughter. We will all as a family always look back and cherish those memories with a smile on our face and in our heart!

Irene and I worked at GE Corporate for many years. Along with the work we enjoyed cocktail parties, lunches and loungerie parties. She was a great joy to know and I will cherish those memories.

Irene was a long-time friend and neighbor while living in Scotia. Even though we are no longer in the Scotia area, we have thought many times of Irene and we offer our most sincere condolences to her family.
