Jason N. Marx

Mr. Jason N. Marx, 43, of Rolla, Missouri passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 29, 1977 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He resided in Rotterdam, New York and was a 1996 graduate of Mohonasen High School. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS John F. Kennedy, a aircraft carrier discharged in 2005. In his youth, he worked at Stadium Golf Course in Rotterdam. In Missouri, he provided services for veterans and was active in his church. He enjoyed all sports, the outdoors and most of all loved his children and family. He is survived by his parents Leonard "Len" Marx and Tillie Jo Morlin; grandfather Richard Putnam, deceased grandmother Barbara (Marx) Putnam; sister, Selesta; Uncle Walter, Aunt Patricia, Uncle David, Aunt Tammy (Shawn) Mc Gee; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Special thanks to Peggy and Susan. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass on September 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 39 St. John Street, Amsterdam with Rev. O. Robert De Martinis, Celebrant. Interment and committal will be at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, New York at a later date.
