Jeremy Monington Obituary
He was survived by his wife Sarah, three children Libbi Mosher (Aarron), Jeremy Monington Jr., and Caleb Monington; his father, Fred Sledzianowski (Rose), brother Steven Komaromi (Sara), and sister Malinda Cassimore (Jeremy Coons), along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his mother, Marie Maurer.
Jeremy Worked at Schenectady Community College and Sunnyview Rehabilitation Center, where he loved to work and made longtime friends.
Visitation will take place on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie NY 12205. On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, calling hours will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to the following foundations: Community Hospice at communityhospice.org/donate, American Cancer Society at donate3.cancer.org, Beukendaal Ladies Auxillary at amvetsaux.org/donate, or to the In Nae Sport Taekwondo studio at glenvilletkd.com.
