Jonathan R. Falk

Jonathan R. Falk, 70, passed away at his residence on Thursday May 25, 2023. Born in

Kingston, PA he is the son of the late Frank and Judith Falk.

Jonathan was a graduate of Maine Endwell Senior High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Hamilton College in 1974. While at Hamilton he was a member of the Emerson Literary

Society. His love for reading continued throughout his life, including his most recent book club where he was the only male member. During his working career, Jonathan worked with many municipalities to

help develop and update their website designs.

In high school and college, he was recognized as an extremely talented trumpet player. As a member of

the Hamilton Brass Choir, he toured throughout the Eastern United States. He also enjoyed painting,

recently became a gym fanatic and loved animals, especially dogs. Jonathan will be remembered by his

friends and family as kind, thoughtful and insightful with a great sense of humor.

Jonathan was a family oriented man who loved to spend time with his family and would speak to them

regularly via telephone where many of the conversations would last for hours while sharing many

laughs. He loved his family vacations to Cape Cod where he would have intense Scrabble competitions

with anyone willing to take on the challenge.

Jonathan was a member and past President of Congregation Gates of Heaven in Schenectady.

Jonathan is survived by his loving son, Seth (Helen) Falk; his cherished granddaughter, Emma Falk; his

beloved sister, Beth (Michael) Falk; his nieces, Elyse and Zoe; and the many friends who cared about him

deeply. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Judith Falk.

Funeral services will be held at Congregation Gates of Heaven, 852 Ashmore Avenue in Schenectady on

Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery on Watt
