Jonell Dobbs Obituary
She was born in Okolona, MS, daughter of the late C.D. and Virgie Dobbs. She was predeceased by five brothers: Lacy Young, Cedell Dobbs, Cecil Dobbs, Robert Gene Dobbs and Willie Joe Dobbs and her daughter Virgie Jane Dobbs and her granddaughter Latisha M. Dobbs.
Jonell is survived by her children: Marilyn (William) Blanchard, Sr., Robert (Kelly) M. Dobbs and Rodney (Andrea) Dobbs. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, special sister Jean Dobbs, special friends, Brunell Simms and Patricia Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Wednesday February 23, 2022 from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A service will follow at 2 p.m.

To the Dobbs family. My heart felt love to you and your family. One day we will all cross that river. We will be able to sit down by the master's side. Forget all our heartaches and troubles. Then be satisfied. Sis. Jonell was loved by many and will be missed. I am one of them. To God be the glory for the things she has done.
