Joseph Ciccarelli Obituary
Joseph was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on March 15, 1942, to Joseph Horace Ciccarelli and Rose Randazzo. He grew up in Malden, MA, with his brother Robert and sister Susan. He attended Matignon High School and graduated in 1959. He graduated from Boston College, receiving a Business degree in 1964. He then earned an MBA from Boston College in 1973.
Over the course of his life, Joseph worked as a college professor, a health care recruiter, a business owner, insurance biller and a director of marketing.
Joe met his wife on a skiing trip in Vermont, and they married on May 27, 1972. They have been happily married for 51 years, and Barbara is the love of his life.
Joe is survived by Barbara, his daughters: Laurie Cella (Matthew), Cathy Petersen (David), and Melissa Ciccarelli and seven loving grandchildren: Cody and Lily Cella, Esther, Elan and Audrey Petersen, and Joey and Olivia Cohen; his brother, Robert Ciccarelli (Terri) and sister, Susan Caiazzo (Steve) and loving nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the Richard J. Ryan Funeral Home, Inc., 2034 West St., Galway. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, August 5 at 9:30am at St. Mary's Church, 2113 East St., Galway.
After the interment the family would like to invite guests to celebrate Joe's life, in the Church social hall at a light luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Institute for Cancer Research.

I just read in the Winter issue of Boston Colege magazine that Joe passed away.
My condolences to Barbara and his family on his passing. We were friends and classmates at BC so many years ago. Joe was a good man and will be missed by all who knew him
