June Langan Obituary

June A. Langan, 55, of Richland Drive, Glenville, NY, passed away Wednesday, May 12, in the comfort of her home under the loving care of hospice and loved ones. June was born September 15, 1965, in Dansville, NY, a daughter of Robert and Mary Ann (Brady) Donegan. She graduated from Mt. Morris Central School, class of 1984, and would later meet her loving and caring husband Brian and relocated to Glenville. June devoted herself to caring for other people and always put the needs of others before her own. She was a certified home health aide for several years, then worked at Conifer Park in Glenville as an Intake Technician for over 17 years until the onset of illness. She fought a valiant battle to the end and always with the sweetest demeanor and class. June enjoyed spending summer days at the Glen Hills Swim Club and took pride in her baking skills. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband to Clearwater Beach in Florida, the coast of Maine and Lake Placid, but she especially enjoyed their yearly beach vacations in the Caribbean and Mexico. June also had fun solving word search puzzles and spending time with friends and family. Survivors include: her husband, Brian P. Langan, whom she married on April 29, 1995, her mother; Mary Ann Donegan of Mt. Morris, her siblings; Charles (Nadja) Donegan of Mt. Morris, Colleen (Robert) Sherner of Mt. Morris, Robert (Beth Shea) Donegan of Mt. Morris and Anna (Chris) Swanson of Mt. Morris, her cherished nieces and nephews who she loved like her own children and was fiercely proud of; Chris Donegan, Michael Donegan, Sonya Roberts, James Donegan, Kyle Donegan, Tim Gavlak, Holly Parysek, Eric Didas, Ryan Swanson, Ben Swanson, Maryellen Buell, Lexi Ryder, Alyssa and Alex Langan, Jamie and Brandon Capron, Jeff and Robert Langan, and Nathan and Justin Langan, several grand nieces and nephews and a special uncle, Myron Brady, Sr. along with other aunts, uncles and cousins who she loved dearly. June was predeceased by her father, Robert and her brother, James. June was also predeceased by her and Brian's beloved Jack Russell terrier, Peanut, who was her "furry little boy." Many thanks to June's nurses Veronica and Darlene these last few months who cared for her with love and compassion. Calling hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, May 19th at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Thursday, May 20th at Our Lady of Fatima, 1735 Alexander Road, Delanson, followed by interment in the Old Stone Fort Cemetery in Schoharie.
