Kenneth Malecki Obituary

Kenneth P. Malecki Dumfries, VA Kenneth Paul Malecki (Ken), 68, of Dumfries VA, passed away on September 6, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Veronica Rafalik Malecki; daughter, Jennifer (Paul); son, Jason (Heather); five grandchildren; brother, Robert (Laura); and two nephews. Ken was born on October 16, 1945 in Niskayuna, New York, son of the late Alexander and Jane Malecki. He was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Thomas. Ken graduated from Bishop Gibbons High School, Siena College and University of Southern California. He served in the US Army and worked for the Department of Defense for 36 years. His family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, September 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. at DeMarco Stone Funeral Home, 5216 Western Tpk. (just west of Carman Rd.), Guilderland, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Monday, September 15 at Saint Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd., Guilderland. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Rotterdam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence, 4200 Harewood Rd.
