Kenneth Sherman Obituary

Kenneth W. Sherman Jr. RotterdamKenneth W. Sherman Jr., 75, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Plattsburgh on October 3, 1936, he was the son of the late Kenneth W. and Annemarie (Gervais) Sherman Sr. Kenneth spent many wonderful hours sharing his life, love and experiences with his grandchildren. His passions were camping, bowling, and especially fishing with his grandkids. Kenneth's idea of living was Family First. He kept with this belief always until his passing. Now he is at peace. Along with his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Doris Sherman; and daughter, Dennise Marie Sherman. He is survived by his sons, Kenneth W. Sherman, III and Michael (Janet) Sherman; grandchildren, Raymond Pecci, Kassondra Sherman, Larissa Sherman, Michael Pastore, Devon Sherman, Anthony Gray, Kyle Pastore-Sherman and Hunter Sherman; sister, Diane Rudolph; Aunt Dorothy Provost; nephew, Richard Rudolph III; nieces, Cheryl Rudolph and Wendy Daunais, and many other nieces, nephews and family members. A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church, Rotterdam. Inurnment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 in Kenneth's name. Ken,we will miss you. you were always there for us and we will miss that we never had a close friends like you and doris and never will find close friends like you two were to us but to us you were more like family.everytime we went outside you were there to talk to us and we will miss that we will always look to see to if you are there or around we will miss not being able to talk to you. yes you will be here in our hearts and memories but it will never be the same.miss and love you always eric and denise

Papa. Words can't Even explain how much I Miss you. I know you and nana are watching over Me now. So many memories I will never forget. It feel like just yesterday we were at 6 mile and you would catch all the good fish and nana and I were catching stupid sunnies.
