Mrs Schaefer was one of my two most favorite teachers. She and Mr. Anderson both made me feel welcome when I was new to the school. RIP Mrs. Schafer. I will always remember you.

Mrs. Schaefer was one of my favorite Teachers ever. I took Earth Science as a 9th grader and was in class with a bunch of 10th graders and remember she paired me with the nicest 10th grader for lab partner. She would have sneakers on her room to change into to take us on nature walks, which we did fairly often to identify. She is the Teacher who had the banana plant. I've loved them ever since. She collected antique bottles and I brought her in some on occasion and she'd write me really nice thank you cards (I think I still have some). She had a poster in her room with a picture of a forest that captioned "Daddy, what were forests like?" which really impacted me. I vaguely remember some labs we did but I will always remember her as one of my favorite Teachers because of how incredibly nice she was, how passionate about science/nature she was, how smart and strong she was (not necessarily physical strength but can do attitude). She was a light. I would like to clean up a nature preserve in honor of Mrs. Schaefer if anyone would like to join me.

Mrs. Schaefer was one of my favorite teachers at Mohonasen. I have many fond memories of being in her class. I'm sad that I never had the chance to let her know how much being in her class meant to me. My sincere condolences for your loss.

Mrs. Schaefer was one of my favorite teachers at Mohonasen. I would help her set up for labs. She taught me a great deal about plants and was always very encouraging and enthusiastic. I will always remember her fondly. Rest in Peace Mrs. Schaefer.

Great teacher, great lady, and always a wonderful customer at the shop. The staff of Uncle Sam´s Candy remembers her well and I personally thought she was a terrific biology teacher in tenth grade. She was one of my favorites and on the advent of my fortieth high school reunion, classmates from Mohonasen still reminisce about her. Our class of 1983 mourns her. She will be missed.
