Robin Smolinsky Obituary

Robin E. Smolinsky, 65, of Schenectady passed away February 7, 2021 at Ellis Hospital. Born in the Bronx, NY; on February 11, 1955 she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Marilyn (Margolin) Smolinsky. Robin is survived by her sister Suzan (Nean), brother-in-law Martin (Obelik), nephew Sam, and niece Melinda. During her lifetime Robin resided at Living Resources and took part in their workshops. She loved her nephew, niece, great-nephew, and great-niece tremendously (as well as her chocolate). She helped all of us understand the importance and the value of simple things in life. Private graveside services will take place on Wednesday February 10, 2021 in the family plot of the Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ. A private Shiva is being observed at the family home. A Celebration of life service will take place at a later date due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Robin can be made to Living Resources Foundation, 300 Washington Ave Ext; Albany, NY 12203. Online condolences may be made at www.brbsfuneral.com.
