Rose Bartlett Obituary

Rose Marie Bartlett (Ruchalski), 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

Born on December 23, 1940, the eldest child of Stanley and Sadie Ruchalski, she lived in the Mont Pleasant neighborhood of Schenectady as a young child and grew up on Ft. Hunter Road in Rotterdam. She graduated from Draper High School in 1958 and worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles for NYS in her early adult life. She married Thomas Bartlett in 1972 and remained married until his passing. A lifetime Elvis fan since the mid-1950s, Rose Marie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing games and crafting including knitting, crocheting, sewing and cake decorating.

Rose Marie is survived by her children, Wayne Ruchalski (Kelley), of Carlisle PA and daughter Michelle Bartlett of Rexford, five grandchildren, two sisters,

Winifred Goodwill and Stasis LeFrancois and predeceased by a sister Patricia Conner and a brother Walter Ruchalski.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00 -,7:00 p.m., on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Delegge Funeral Home.
