Sandra G. Thompson

Sandra G. Thompson, 65, died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia. Sandy was born in Potsdam, the daughter of Frederick and Phyllis Hoyt. She moved to Schenectady many years ago. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and loving sister. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur Thompson, and survived by four children, Tina (Scott) Mesick, Wilbur (Courtney) Thompson, Karen (Mike Foote) Rowe and Kenneth Thompson; five siblings, Terry Hoyt, Bernard Hoyt, Thomas Hoyt, Wendy Hoyt, Patti Olsen and Lorie Capobianco; many grand and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six siblings, Gloria Richards, Darlene Carmen, Melinda Merrill, Phillip Hoyt, Wendy McMahon and Mitchel Hoyt. Funeral private at the convenience of the family.
