Tom is still fondly remembered. My Brothers Robert, Peter and I knew him from early church life, as local neighbors and park baseball playing throughout elementary and school years. I attended high school with him. It was nice to encounter him in later years while working an E.R., when he worked on the ambulance and we'd always enjoyed reminiscing those days. He is thought of often and still brought up in family conversations of good memories as he was a kind & treasured friend. I pray the family's memories are easy and all happy now.

Nuzback was one of my best friends and co-workers. He made everyone laugh and whenever he was in the room, the room was full of happy energy. His jokes were the best and his personality was so memorable. We continue to miss him very much. May you continue to rest in peace first officer Nuzback.

I met Tom decades ago when we both worked at Mohawk Ambulance. To know Tom was to experience humor at a high level. I was a great audience for his love of laughter and life. One of my fondest memories of Tom's often impromptu humor, was of him doing an impression of a person, while the subject in question looked on. Both Tom and his subject had a great sense of humor and they played off each other to the uncontrolled laughter of the unsuspecting audience. Just one example in many thousands. He will be missed.

Lately I would see him at St. Johns and Bellevue Cafe with his daughter. He was such a proud dad. He will be missed. Condolences and prayers to his family.

Regards to family & loved ones of my childhood friend, church buddie and baseball pal. All those laughs didn't develope over time--- he mastered him in his youth, to all our benefits. Loved running into him from time to time, when I worked in the city. Sorry we lost touch in time. Prayers for comfort in his passing.

Dear Tom's children:
Your dad always made my visits to the casino a fun time. His sense of humor was wicked. His rich, resonant voice was that of a radio commentator. I always teased him that he should have dubbed voices in animated film features.I have no doubt that he is charming the spirit world with his stories. Rest in peace, Tom and say hello to Johnny for me. I'll never forget the night he was called to eternity. I'm sure you both have lots to chat about. Thanks for your many kindnesses. Hit a heavenly jackpot.. To the family, thank you for sharing your dad with so many. I was fortunate to be one of them.
Sincerely,
Dr. Maria Ramirez

Dad, you had such a love for life. You truly were one in a million. You were so smart, and could always make people laugh. You had the best stories and jokes. You will truly be missed. You had such a big heart. You were a kind & generous soul. We will live on through your memories & words. Though you are not here physically I can feel your spirit around me every single moment of every day. I will not mourn for your loss. Although I am sad, I know God called you home and you are safe and in Heaven no longer suffering, and for that I celebrate & will cherish each day as a gift. I love you so much. Have a crown sour waiting for me at the big gates. I love you with all my heart, so not goodbye Dad, until our souls meet up in Heaven again...all my love - your daughter, Destiny.

We grew up together and even fought together over the years. Thank God in these last years we reconnected...on Facebook and even over the phone. As kids we played "Gotcha Last" before our folks got too torqued off at us for not coming in at night. Tom, you got me last...thanks for sharing my life, TP. May God bring peace to you, and comfort to your family and all of us who shared life together over the years.

Thom was a very nice man. I especially remember him early on in high school when in the play My Fair Lady, I was about to sing " On the Street Where You Live" as Thom walked by me and made some funny faces at me that the audience could not see, trying to make me laugh, which he did many times during rehearsals and almost did during the real performance. He had a wonderful sense of humor and who I believe was a humble man. Now I will have to change my will because I requested him to be the one to prepare me for my journey home. I hope he will be one of the first people I meet when we meet again in heaven, if I am blessed enough to make it there. By Tom. I'll see you again when God knows the day and time I am prepared for.

Where do I begin? So much that I could say! Loving, caring man with a big heart. Always a kind word and if he thought your faith was shaken he'd take a minute to encourage and build you up. Tom was kind to everyone and he was a one of a kind type guy. Tom was a friend to everyone and everyone his friend, not too many you can say that about and mean it. He will be forever missed and loved. I know he is in a good place. All our hearts are heavy and full of grief right now but I believe all the memories that we all have privately and the ones we share together with each other will get us through letting Tom go. He won't be far because he is and always will be in each of our hearts and we have only to place our hand over our heart to feel him there. Love you Tom, rest easy.
