Vince also held the positions of State Vice President, District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler and State Trustee. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 91 for several years.
Vince enjoyed bowling with his children as well as his leagues, the Mechanicville Firemen's League for 61 years and in the Sunday Social Mixed League for 12 years with his children Eric, Craig and Diane. Vince had two 300 games in his career.
Among all of his accolades, one of his finest accomplishments was being named the City of Mechanicville's Citizen of the Year in 2009, something Vince was most proud and honored to receive.
A longtime communicant of the All Saints on the Hudson parish, he served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years.
Sadly, Vince was unexpectedly predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Jacqueline A. (Johnson) Morrell, just this past April 30, 2023.
